BB&C Management Team






Over the years BB&C has developed a talented team, offering a multitude of skillsets gleaned from a broad base of industries.

AMANDA M. CURTIS, CAE,
has a career in association management and is the founding principal of BB&C.
She has experience in the establishment and restructuring of national and provincial associations, by-law preparation and incorporation, and works closely with elected officials to formulate policy, planning and financial objectives. She has been editor of association publications, produced promotional materials and organized trade shows and educational programs.
Amanda is a member of the Canadian Society of Association Executives. She has spoken at numerous conferences and served as president of the International Association of Association Management Companies, now known as the AMC Institute.

LAURIE ANDREWS joined BB&C in 1991 and became a partner and vice-president of the firm in 2005.
She has extensive experience in both association management and public accounting. As BB&C vice-president & treasurer, she serves as HR/office manager and manager of finance and is responsible for detailed monthly reports, development of association budgets and financial forecasts for all client associations.
Laurie is also directly involved in project management and has been a key member of the BB&C staffing team responsible for all facets of planning and financial management for international conferences.
Laurie is a member of the Canadian Society of Association Executives.

MARY McININCH, BA, L.L.B holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and Bachelor of Arts from the Universities of Ottawa and McGill respectively. A native of Pointe Claire, Québec, Mary is fluently bilingual and an accomplished public speaker.
Mary joined BB&C in 2000, and serves as executive director providing comprehensive government relations services to a national association with chapters across Canada.

MARIE SAINT-IVANY has a background in association management and sales. She joined BB&C as office manager in 1990, and now focuses her efforts on trade show management where her sales and communications skills combine to make her highly effective.
Marie serves as executive director of a national association and has worked closely with the Board and external professionals in the development of industry standards.
Marie is a member of the Canadian Society of Association Executives.

JENNIFER TRAER, CAE joined BB&C in 2021 making her the newest member of the team. Jennifer has a professional background in association support and experience in the areas of membership growth, stakeholder engagement and operations management. Her work with boards and committees, together with successes in the revitalization of branding and performance of annual conferences and events will be central to her role within BB&C. Jennifer is an active member of the Canadian Society of Association Executives.

HALYNA TROIAN, CAE joined BB&C in January of 2001. She had over 10 years’ experience in business administration and project management as well as publishing prior to joining the BB&C team.
Halyna works with the Boards of three client associations. She is a thoughtful and strong contributor on association project management and planning initiatives. She was the lead staff member in two highly successful international conferences held in Vancouver and Toronto respectively, both of which were attended by representatives from 45 countries.
Halyna is a member of the Canadian Society of Association Executives, and obtained her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in 2004.
